The atmosphere at PVFBC is relaxed and open. Most folks dress casually, even the pastor. The ladies wear pants and dresses. Many wear jeans. Wear what you feel comfortable in.
Our parking lot is accessed from Church Street, across from Pleasant View Elementary School.
Coming from I-24 on Highway 49, bear right onto Church Street at Champion Car Wash. Coming from Ashland City on Highway 49, turn left into our driveway that leads under the awning, just past Balthrop Park (you'll see three crosses in a field).
Guest Parking spots are reserved near the main entrance, but you may park anywhere you like.
When you arrive, look for the sign that says, "GUEST ENTRANCE." It leads into the main foyer, where the sanctuary is just to the left. There you'll find guest services volunteers ready to help answer any questions.
We understand coming to a new church can be intimidating. We never ask guests to stand or single them out in any way. First time guests are encouraged to fill out an information card but are allowed to remain anonymous if they choose.
We only contact guests who give us permission (there's a place on the Guest Card for that), and we never visit without calling first.
Look for the calendar icon at the bottom of the page to plan your first visit with us. Someone will meet you at the door to show you the ropes!
KidsView (K-4th) & KidsView JR (birth-pre-K) are offered on Sunday mornings during the 9 & 10:30AM hours, as well as on Wednesday nights for K-4th with KidsView HD.
The KidsView ministry area is located in the Educational Complex, the building connected to the Sanctuary Complex by a covered walkway. Look for the KidsView sign. Guest Services volunteers will be there to help guide you to the right place.
All workers have been carefully screened and passed a thorough background check. Your children's safety is important to us.
Pleasant View First Baptist is a community of believers serving as a part of the Southern Baptist Convention. We work together with over 50,000 churches across the country and the world to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
We support the Baptist Faith & Message, a collection of articles expressing what we believe about the Bible, the family, the church, and many other issues important to our faith.
We are here to lead people on the journey to authentic faith by loving God, loving people, sharing Jesus, and growing in grace together.
